One of Imani Winds’ core values is to be a bridge for audiences who may not have been exposed to

chamber music.  But another kind of bridge is needed for gifted musicians who desire the tools and means neccessary to perform chamber music at a high level.  IWCMF presents a unique opportunity that brings both values together: providing free concerts to the public, while giving participants opportunities that go beyond conservatory level training.  Our goal is to change their lives.   


    IWCMF 2012 saw half of the enrollment received assistance due to generous contributions, but more than 75% requested aid.  For 2013, our goal and need is to raise $25,000 to meet the high demands of musicians needing financial support.

PROVIDE A STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP

  1. - $2000 covers tuition, housing and fees for one fellowship participant.

  2. - $1100 covers tuition and fees for one fellowship participant.

  3. - $1800 covers tuition, housing and fees for one GCM participant.

  4. - $1000 covers tuition and fees for one GCM participant.

  5. - $1700 covers tuition, housing and fees for one emerging composer.

  6. - $900 covers tuition and fees for one emerging composer.

Partial Scholarships/Memorial gifts are welcome.

Many of our participants request a more affordable option for accommodations in NYC. If you have a clean, safe, comfortable accommodations for a musician within your home, are located within 10 minutes distance walking or by subway from Lincoln Center, and are interested in hosting, donating, or renting your space, please contact:
